YANGON, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and eight others injured in a car crash in eastern Myanmar's Shan State, an official from the Myanmar Fire Services Department told Xinhua on Monday.
The incident occurred in Taunggyi Township of Shan State at around 7 p.m. local time on Sunday.
A 22-wheeler truck experienced brake failure while descending from the Taungyi-Ayetharyar road before collided with three vehicles.
The injured were transported to the local hospital for medical treatment, he added. ■
